I got these and also got my daughter a pair, unfortunately, she didn’t care for them – said too much of her toes showed. She also said they were a tad narrow which worried me because I have a wide foot BUT, I love mine and they fit great and look great. I have several pair of the flip flops so these were a little out of my comfort zone but, I’m happy I have them because they are a notch or two above the casual look of my flip flops.

Love the look. Fit not the best. With the straps not being adjustable they are not ideal. I have long skinny feet and they don’t stay in the shoe. I’m keeping only bc I wore them without testing them bc I’ve never had to test a pair of olukais.

Most Comfortable Sandal ever! I ordered the black in a 8 for reference. My normal sandal size is 7.5 but always 8 with OluKai shoes. The length is perfect along with the width. They fit comfortably around the strap area and not tight. The bucket is a pretty tortoise shell color that gives just the right pop to the black sandal. The footbed is a cushioned leather and straps under the buckle do not rub. I can tell they will be one of my favorite summer sandals.

Absolutely knocked it out of the park with La’i Slide. Purchased both Lagoon and Taupe. Ohana fan for years, so glad I decided to switch it up. The first minute I saw the La’i Slide style and in colors Lagoon and Taupe, they went straight into my cart. OluKai as a rule, are the most comfortable soled shoes I have ever worn. The La’i Slide does not disappoint with the same quality you would expect from OluKai plus they are amazingly stylish. Dresses up skirts for work better than my go to’s with all the comfort. Great value…would love more colors though, I would order Lagoon and Taupe again.

The sandals are super cute and versatile. However, the inset part of the sandal is rubbing on both feet and causing irritation. For the high price, I am disappointed that they are causing irritation. I tried to put protective strips on but they are coming off after each wear.

I always thought OluKai shoes are made in Hawaii and always made with leather material. However, the last pair I bought (I have bought quite a few pairs from OluKai), the La’ Slide, was not leather upper, and it is not made in Hawaii but it’s made in China. Also, the description on the website only stated that it is “water-friendly”. I bought other sandals from OluKai in the past and they were leather and they were also water-friendly, as I wore it a lot for sailing and water sports. For the price I paid for this current one, it is not the quality I expected. If OluKai can be bought anywhere and not in leather, I could get similar shoes from other sellers for a cheaper price elsewhere. My issue is not to buy cheap shoes. I would rather pay the price and buy quality shoes. I am very disappointed with my purchase at this time. Lastly, not realizing it was plastic, trusting the OluKai products, I threw away the box and tags unfortunately and later noticed that they weren’t leather. I am still thinking of returning it but I wanted to talk with a real person to find out if this is possible or not. It is impossible to chat ir get a live person to talk with.
