How does OluKai reduce its environmental footprint?

We use natural latex in our gum rubbers, 30% recycled material in all our outsoles, and 100% recycled material in our packaging. We source all of our leathers exclusively from environmentally conscious ISO-14001 certified tanneries. We are exploring water-based glues, however, at this time the sub-par bond durability outweighs the benefits. We will make the switch once the bonding strength improves. We consider making high-quality, long-lasting footwear as one way to reduce our environmental footprint.

Why does OluKai name each of their products Polynesian words?

The Polynesian culture is an oral history, passed along through storytelling. Naming our products with Hawaiian words is our small way of spreading and preserving the culture for future generations.

I want to change or cancel my order

We immediately send each order to our distribution center to begin processing and preparing it for shipment. We move as fast as possible, so we cannot change or cancel anything on your order. Please double check your shipping address before placing your order. We do offer easy 30-day returns and exchanges to accommodate any changes you wish to make.

We will send you an email as soon as your order ships with a tracking number to follow your shipment from our distribution center to your front door. When you receive your order, you can begin the return or exchange by clicking the link in your shipping confirmation email.

Can I return or exchange my gift?

We offer gift returns in the form of eGift Cards to use towards the purchase of any item on our website.

We do not provide direct gift exchanges. You will need to return your gift for an eGift Card and use it to purchase another item.

You will need two numbers to begin a gift return:

  1. Order Number, which is listed on your shipping label after “PO” under your address.
  2. Zip Code of the shipping address.

When will I receive my Refund, Exchange, or eGift Card Refund?

For fastest processing, use the Return Bar. As soon as they scan your QR code your return or exchange will begin processing:

  1. You will receive your refund
  2. If exchanging, your new order will begin processing
  3. If returning for store credit, the eGift Card will be processed with your refund

If you elect to use a shipping courier, as soon as the package with our pre-paid shipping label is delivered by the courier to our distribution center:

  1. You will receive your refund
  2. If exchanging, your new order will begin processing
  3. If returning for store credit, the eGift Card will be processed with your refund

You will receive a confirmation email when processing is complete.

How do I return or exchange my order?

We offer two options for returning your items to us:

  1. You can choose to drop your exchange off at a Happy Returns Return Bar location for the quickest option. 10 or more items will no longer be accepted at Return Bars.
  2. Alternatively, we will provide you with a shipping label to print, and you can pack and ship your return or exchange back to us.

You will need your order number to begin processing your return or exchange. You can find your order number on:

  1. Your account page
  2. Your shipping label listed after “PO” under your address
  3. Your order or shipping confirmation email

Extended Holiday Returns & Exchanges

Kick back and relax this holiday season knowing your OluKai gifts come with an extended return and exchange period. Orders fulfilled from Nov. 1st through Dec. 25th can be exchanged for free until Jan. 26th at our return portal here.

As always, free shipping is included for all orders $120+.

All orders placed after Dec. 25th include our standard 30-day easy return policy.

Rest easy, we offer free exchanges for new sizes / colors and free returns for store credit. Additionally, customers can exchange for new products of lesser or greater value.

All other returns for refund will be charged between $5 – $7 restocking fee on the returned product.

Please place your exchange or refund within 30 days from the date your order was placed on OluKai.com. Items must be in new, unused condition with the original packaging and tags. In order to qualify for refunds back to original payment method, items must be in new/excellent condition.

We offer four options for returns and exchanges.

  1. Exchange for another color and/or size
  2. Return for a new style
  3. Return for store credit
  4. Return for a refund back to the original payment method.

We will begin processing your new order or email your store credit as soon as the Return Bar processes your exchange.

For any order totaling over $700, returns will need to be processed by contacting our Aloha Experience Team. Thank you for helping us prevent fraud.
