Have owned 3 pair of Hiapo’s, The last 2 pair the toe strap between the great toe and 2nd toe failed, once broken but still intact began to irritate my foot after prolonged wear. Both times this happened after the 12 month warranty expired approximately 18 months. My 1st pair about 8 years old the toe straps are intact. I will contact customer service about repair or replacement. I buy Quality and expect Quality in return.

10 years ago in Hawaii we bought a pair each. My husband has just bought a second pair he loves them so much. Haipo…… best damn flop period…..I used to plow through a pair of the highest end Reefs in six months, I collect flops like people collect high end sneakers. I currently have 4 pairs of Olu Kais that I wear always my Haipos are what I call my formal flops, they took longer to break in but man once you have they are like a seconds skin for the feet to say nothing about the subtle awesome laser engraving. I live in the Pacific Northwest and even with 4 feet of snow on the ground I wear my Olu’s constantly

I have been wearing Olukai’s since 2009 started out with a pair of the cheaper flops Olukai sales which were the Ohana’s after going through two pairs of Ohana’s since 2009 decided to purchase a pair of Hiapo’s and I will say they are everything you would expect in a flip flop vary comfortable to wear all day,the Hiapo’s seem to feel better the more I wear them
I will say my only complaint with the first two pairs of ohana’s is the toe post broke after around three years of wearing daily but the rest of the flip flop still looked new but there is no way to fix the toe post so you have to throw them away

I have owned many different brands of sandals over the years. They are usually super comfy and wear fast, or a bit stiff and need broken in. These need broken in. I hope that they don’t wear too fast, as they are super cush now that they have formed to my feet. Only issues I have are fat feet and stich quality. I need them a bit wider at the heels. The stich is also not even across the seam in the straps. Other than the mentioned problems, they are great when I need to look less like the beach bum I am…lol. Keep up the good work
